TOURIST CARD
If you
originally come from one of the specified countries or territories listed below, you do not need visa for a
tourist
stay in the Dominican Republic.
You only
need to be in possession of your ID
card or your passport under validity.
You are
also required to buy the new tourist
card at the Consulate of the Dominican Republic or at your arrival in the Dominican Republic. To
avoid the long queues in the airport, it is highly
recommended to
buy it in advance by post or directly at the Consulate, your travel
agency or
tour-operator.
Each person requires a Tourist Card, including children. The tourist card is not personal and does not expire.
In
the
Consulate General, the tourist card is available at 13 euros
each one. You can request any quantity of tourist card,
either in person, by phone, by e-mail, by courrier or
fax. Download the application
form available here and send it to us filled out. The
same day that we receive the request, this same day the tourism cards will
be sent to you.
This
card
is valid for a 15 days tourist stay. If you are going to remain in the country more than 15
days, we highly recommend to obtain a Dominican
Visa.
