Dear friends,
Welcome
on the official website of the
Consulate General of the Dominican Republic,
island famous for its beaches such
as Las Terrenas, Samana,
Punta Cana and Bavaro.
However, the country does not
come down only to its idyllic beaches. It is also recognized for its
very
varied landscape, a moving history, a dynamic and strong economy, a
democratic
system of government, a good social stability and a very welcoming
population.
At the Consulate General, among
a team of
professionals, we commit ourselves, among other things, to promoting
and
developing business and tourism turned toward this heavenly Caribbean
island.

Embassy of the
Dominican Republic in Paris, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the
Minister’s
Office for Tourism and its promotion office at 11 Rue Boudreau, Paris,
we can give
you all the necessary information and services so that your holidays or
the
development of your business and commercial relations take place in
optimal
conditions in the Dominican Republic.
Our mission is also to ensure a
close and
active partnership with businessmen, tour operators and travel
agencies, based
on relations of confidence and allowing to facilitate all the requests
and
procedures toward the Dominican Republic.

The function of the Consulate
is also to take
over from the Dominican administration so that our nationals do not cut
off
relations with their country and can exercise their citizens’
rights:

To draw up birth, marriage or death certificates.

To obtain the issue of passports, notarial deeds, adoption procedure

The Consulate also provides
defence (for example,
assistance to incarcerated dominicans) and assistance to our nationals
and the
protection of their goods in accordance with law.
At last, the Consulate has a
general role of
information of the Dominican community and it is in charge of
activities to
keep alive relations between the Dominican Republic
and political,
economical, commercial, scientific and cultural spheres of Marseille
and its surroundings
in order to better introduce our country and create a climate of
dialogue and
cooperation.
